
From concept to grand opening and turning a profit, getting a practice off the ground and running can be an exciting, yet daunting experience. Through PECAA’s cold start program, more than 300 doctors have leveraged unmatched guidance and support to prepare them for success in a dynamic eye care landscape.
To continue our support of the private practice community, we recently announced our refreshed cold start program – PECAA Launch – which includes newly enhanced vendor programs to ease the financial pressure of opening cold, as well as additional advisory resources to guide critical decision making.
On top of free first-year membership, PECAA Launch offers substantially reduced fees for the second year, representing thousands of dollars of savings while a new practice develops and grows, affirming our longstanding commitment to helping private practices thrive at every stage.
“PECAA’s cold start program has a long history of empowering doctors on their entrepreneurial journey with expert guidance, resources and connection-building opportunities,” said PECAA President Jonathan Worrall. “PECAA Launch provides amplified support and value so
doctors can navigate the cold start process with confidence.” An expanded lineup of vendor programs now includes more partnerships to lessen the capital commitment of establishing a new practice, with an emphasis on equipment, software and optical fixtures. Members also benefit from PECAA’s full range of business advisory services that include operations, finance and strategy, billing and coding, practice marketing and optical expertise at no cost.
Additionally, PECAA welcomes Shaun Damico to its Business Advisory Team. Damico joins PECAA cold start program creator and advisor Jenny Wiley, both of whom are exclusively dedicated to supporting doctors wherever they are in their practice opening timeline.
Since 2016, PECAA has had the pleasure of guiding private practice doctors through their cold start journey, creating a vibrant community of experienced owners who can in turn share their stories with others.
